What this site is

businessai.co.zw answers four questions for owners and managers of Zimbabwean small and mid-sized businesses: what can AI and automation do in my business, what does it cost, what does it return, and where do I start. It is written as a reference handbook — tables, worked calculations, flow diagrams, checklists and three working tools — not as a brochure.

Who publishes it

The site is published by AI Automated Solutions (linked in the footer), an implementation company founded by Evert Vorster and headquartered in Cape Town, South Africa, serving clients across Zimbabwe. AI Automated Solutions builds WhatsApp automation, CRM automation, voice agents, lead management, appointment booking and workflow automation. Its Zimbabwe presence is aiautomatedsolutions.co.zw.

AI Automated Solutions also operates a family of Zimbabwe-focused publications and brands: zimbabweai.co.zw (research and directory), enterpriseai.co.zw (enterprise governance), aiagent.co.zw (AI agents), aiservices.co.zw (services by problem), aiharare.co.zw (Harare), zimiai.co.zw (community) and the Zvino platform brand. The related company Eigenstate Systems works in physical intelligence and computer vision. We say this plainly because a reader deciding what to buy deserves to know who is talking.

The line between the handbook and the company

• Every tool, guide and price table here is vendor-neutral. We name categories and, where prices are public, named products with their list prices and a dated source. We do not rank vendors and we do not take listing fees.
• The only commercial call to action is "get an automation assessment", which goes to AI Automated Solutions and is labelled as such.
• Nothing here recommends the publisher's own products. Where a guide says "you may not need software for this", that is the advice.

Editorial approach

• Author. Every page is written by Evert Vorster. There are no ghost authors or generated bylines.
• Sources. Every statistic, price or regulatory fact carries a source URL and an access date, listed at the foot of the page it appears on. We prefer primary sources: ZIMRA, POTRAZ, ZimStat, RBZ, NSSA, Meta's developer documentation, vendor pricing pages. Where only secondary reporting exists we say so.
• Worked examples are labelled "illustrative". They use stated assumptions, not client data. We do not publish client names, testimonials or case studies on this site.
• Update cadence. Prices and regulations are re-checked quarterly; pages show a published and an updated date. The ZiG rate used across the site is the RBZ interbank rate at end-August 2026 (26.66 ZiG per USD) and is stated wherever it is used.
• Corrections. Email ai@aiautomatedsolutions.net with the page URL and the source that contradicts us. Material corrections are made on the page and noted in the updated date.
• What we will not do. Invent statistics, quote prices without a source, present the publisher's services as neutral advice, or give legal, tax or financial advice. Talk to a registered tax practitioner about ZIMRA matters and to your NEC or a labour practitioner about employment rules.
